Quinzy is a band that plays tightly constructed and melodic pop music. Sometimes, to the amusement of all, they get confused into thinking they play rock music. They were born in Winnipeg on December 14, 2002. There are only three of them, so they all sing their hearts out so as to seem like many, and it's quite something when they pull it off.

Quinzy will be rocking out, or at the very least tightly constructing, at the Downbeat on Monday, November 22nd at 10:30 pm. To find out more about Quinzy, click

Now, the Wheatmonkeys are another story altogether. As the picture of Dave from the Wheatmkonkeys indicates, they are a band who likes to have a lot of fun.

The Wheatmonkeys are loud rock 'n' roll with a middle-finger salute. Hard rockin' though they be, they still like to show off their influences. As a band, they infuse diverse musical influences like Goldfinger, Sublime, Bob Marley, Living End) to create rock ‘n rolls most
promising new sound.

The Wheatmonkeys will be rockin' forth at the Downbeat Lounge on Tuesday, November 23rd at 10:30 pm. To find out more about this band, clickhere.
