Help send a dirt poor band to BC

Eleven Minutes Away are miles away from where they wanted to be right now. Well, maybe that's a good thing for Sault Ste. Marie, anyway.

Eleven Minutes Away are miles away from where they wanted to be right now.

Well, maybe that's a good thing for Sault Ste. Marie, anyway.

"Due to the fact that we are dirt poor and our van needs some serious repairs, we have no choice but to postpone our national tour that was originally scheduled for this month," says the band's website.

Eleven Minutes Away will be at the Downbeat Lounge at 740 Queen East on Friday, April 7.

Chris Veska (vocals, guitar), Robert Nagy (bass, vocals, Chris Reilly (guitar, vocals), and Steven Valentini (drums) make up Eleven Minutes Away.

The band works out of Burlington, Ontario and is billed as Emo, Post Hardcore and Screamo
