NEWS RELEASE
CHILD AND YOUTH CARE WALK
***************************
The third year Child and Youth Care (CYC) class from Sault College invites all families within the community to join them at the 19th annual W.A.L.K. (We All Love Kids) free family fun event. This year’s event will be taking place on April 6, 2019 from 12-4 p.m. at Sault College in the M Wing Lobby (off Northern Avenue). All proceeds raised for this year’s event will be donated to the local Soup Kitchen.

The afternoon will be filled with fun activities including a photo booth, face painting, Entomica bug exhibit, aviation flight simulator and many more all-inclusive, free family activities. Raffles will be held with prizes that have been donated to us from people all throughout the community. Food and beverages will also be provided, all free of cost.

“Having the opportunity to plan and host the We All Love Kids event has been such a great opportunity. The W.A.L.K has had such a positive affect on the community throughout the years. We hope that we will continue this with this year’s event and continue to positively impact the families in our community,” said Christine Bowie, third year Child and Youth Care student.

We are looking forward to holding this event and reaching as many families within our community as we can. We welcome members of our community to share this event and help us to spread the word. For more information about the W.A.L.K or if you are interested in being a sponsor please contact Jenna Polutanovich at [email protected] or Shelly Nelson Bond at [email protected]. Check us out on Facebook.

The third year CYC class would like to thank the community partners: Kiwanis, RBC Sault Ste Marie, Velorution Bike and Ski Sault Ste Marie, Neighbourhood Resource Centre, Sault College Chartwells, and the first and second year Child and Youth Care students for their time and donations toward our event.

Parking is free in A lot, accessible on Northern Avenue across from the college. We hope to see you there!
