A free drive-in movie experience is coming to a Metro near you.

On Saturday, Sept. 11, 'Metro Retro' will take place at the Churchill Plaza Metro, at 150 Churchill Blvd.

The drive-in will feature the family-friendly film, Matilda, in addition to entertainment from local arts groups.

Entertainment from the Sault Community Theatre is slated to start at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will show at 8:30 p.m.

While tickets to the event are free, guests are encouraged to donate to the Sault Community Theatre Centre in order to offset the impacts of COVID-19 on performing arts locally.

A memo from Metro also states that attendees will receive a free snack bag, featuring samples and coupons from local food venders.

Attendees will also have the chance to win prizes.
