Five O'clock Charlie is a roots-influenced indie rock band, dedicated to putting on a high quality performance of unique warmth and depth.

They offer a thick palette of textures due to diverse instrumentation and a broad range of influences, including: The Rheostatics, Gord Downie, The Weakerthans, Wilco and Hayden.

Originally an acoustic side project featuring the poignant simplicity of Craig Schram's songwriting, Five O'clock Charlie quickly grew into a foursome who's collaborative efforts result in a landscape of lush harmonies and bitter-sweet melodies, brimming with Canadiana.

In January of 2005, Five O'clock Charlie released their second studio effort, and first full length record.
