Fall Rendezvous offers locals a glimpse into the past (17 photos)

Demonstrations and activities are available until 4:30 p.m. at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site

As part of this year’s Ontario Culture Days, the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site is welcoming locals to stop by their Fall Rendezvous and Harvest Fest today.

A number of heritage interpreters are on-site providing demonstrations, activities, and displays on the history of the area.

From pioneer games and First Nations drumming, to hand-crafted pieces and a variety of foods, the Fall Rendezvous offers a unique glimpse into our city’s past.

A cannon fires at the top of every hour, and a demonstration of how it works is also available.

Local vendors from the Algoma Makers Market are also next door to the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site selling jewelry, clothing, and other goodies.

The Fall Rendezvous will be available until 4:30 p.m.
