Ok, not really, but Sault Theatre Workshop is presenting the classic Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" on December 8th-11th, 2004 starting at each night at 8:00 pm.

The good folks at the Sault Theatre Workshop have been producing award-winning community theatre for over 50 years, and this is sure to be a great way to launch the whole family into the holiday season.

We all know the story that follows Ebenezer's progress from greed to generosity, from social detachment to moral involvement, due in large part to being "scared to death" by a bunch o' ghostly visitors.

"I chose to adapt this story myself, because too many of the adaptations which I have read have tried to alter and improve the story," says D. Daynard, the productions director. "This adaptation uses the words, characters and story as Charles Dickens wrote them."

Performances are being held at St. Mary's College.
