Eva Perón was a powerhouse of a political figure. After her death and the many years of public silence that followed, her name is finally imbedded on the public consciousness.

With so many things, it took a pop culture phenomenon to bring her name to the forefront of the North American mainstream. The phenomenon I am speaking of is the fruitful partnership between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. It is of course their musical (and subsequent movie based on the musical) that made Eva Perón's name recognizable to even bubble gum chewing Madonna fans.

Shot in the Dark Productions will be holding auditions for Evita (the musical) on Sunday November 21, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Algoma's Water Tower Inn.

All roles are still available. This is your chance to cry for Argentina, folks. The show will run from February 17th to the 19th, 2005. For further information email: [email protected].
