Day of wizardry planned at the museum

Just in time for Halloween, The Brickspace will be hosting an event on Oct. 29 in partnership with Sault Ste. Marie Museum.

The event will include a Harry Potter Lego collection that includes features sets from all franchise films and a motorized Hogwarts Express!

Admission to the event is by donation to the Sault Ste. Marie Museum.

The main event will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and there will also be trick or treating on the front steps from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Among the activities during the event are an opportunity to spin the sorting hat Lego set and be sorted into your houses and explore the miniature world of Hogwarts.

Locally made chocolate frogs will be available for purchase.

You can also have your picture taken and be turned into a wanted poster from Azkaban. The posters will then be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the sale of chocolate frogs, Azkaban wanted posters and sorting hat spins will be going towards the opening of The Brickspace's storefront.

Svenny McG will be back with some Harry Potter-themed retro gaming and there will be other Harry Potter-themed vendors as well.

Dress up in Harry Potter cosplay for your chance to win some Lego and Harry Potter-related prizes.
