West's words

We have a new band lineup for Startlefish.

There are five of us now (Craig, Ed, Mike, Felipe and Shane) and we are quite excited about our new sound and vibe.

And so this weekend we are breaking in the new band with two live shows (you see where this is going of course) and we are hoping to get some bodies out.

On Friday February 24 we are at Loplops Lounge.

There will be an opening act in the form of Mr. Paul Stanghetta at 9:30 pm and then we are on at 10:30 pm.

There will be NO COVER for this show.

This will be the first show that will feature the new five man band and we intend to prove ourselves to be far more than an acoustic trio!

On Saturday February 25 we are at Algoma University's Speakeasy along with the Chris Belsito Band.

Startlefish plays at 10 p.m., Belsito at 11 p.m., Startlefish again at 12 a.m. and finally Belsito again at 1 a.m.

There will be NO COVER for this show.

As with our gig last month at Sault College's Outback, we are hoping we can bring out some bodies and make a good impression on the Speakeasy, thus making it part of our local live market.

So if you're not doing anything with your body on Saturday night (or Friday for that matter), send it to the Speakeasy (and to Loplops) so Startlefish can use it ... oh ... wait ... that sounded bad ... well you get the idea.

And if you have an emailing list, don't be afraid to forward this email, spamming all your friends and shamelessly promoting our gigs!
