RICHARDS LANDING - The Old Town Hall in Richards Landing will be hosting Craig Cardiff Friday, Mar. 3 at 8 p.m. This concert is part of the "Just Passin' Through" series featuring artists touring through the central Algoma–Sault Ste. Marie area.

This will be the second time the Arnprior, Ontario-based folk-rock artist has been in Richards Landing. Cardiff also performed in 2016 and received rave reviews from the audience and concert organizers.

“We’ve been doing this concert series with over 30 shows since 2012 and Craig’s concert jumped right out as one of the best,” said Jody Wildman, Chair of the Events Committee. “He was funny and entertaining and is a great musician—he really engaged the crowd.”

Cardiff is a past Juno nominee for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year: Solo, and a past Canadian Folk Music Award nominee for Contemporary Singer of the Year.

The Just Passin’ Through Concert Series brings musicians travelling across Canada to St. Joseph Island. Concerts are sponsored by the Township of St. Joseph and St. Joseph Island Coffee Roasters and take place throughout the year at the Richards Landing Old Town Hall at 1211 Richards Street.

Tickets for the Mar. 3 Craig Cardiff concert are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Tickets can be delivered to Sault Ste. Marie and can be purchased by calling 705-246-2625 or emailing [email protected].
