Claryssa Webb returns home to celebrate new music with a new band

To finish off their successful tour of Western Canada, A New Ground (Claryssa Webb, Ryan Dugal) will be hosting a launch of their new CD, Forge the Sky, for one night only in Sault Ste. Marie at the Moose Lodge on Trunk Road on Wednesday, July 25 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

There will be an opportunity to meet the band, purchase a copy of their CD and hear them perform live.

On their tour of western Canada, A New Ground has appeared on Global and CTV, as well as radio talk shows.

They have gathered a large following in western Canada and we hope to end their tour in Sault Ste. Marie (the hometown of Webb) with a bang!

The unique qualities of this debut CD are that every single instrument being heard was performed by the two sole members of A New Ground, and also the fact that each CD sleeve cover was hand-painted by Claryssa Webb. 

The other quality that makes this CD unique is that it showcases entirely original songs that combines several distinct musical styles (classical, traditional, folk from Webb and jazz, pop, rock from Dugal). The mixture produces a very edgy, Celtic-pop sound that warms your heart and taps your feet.
