Three days of free music will fill Clergue Park from Thursday, July 18 to Saturday, July 20 as Stage 1 celebrates the 50th anniversary of Woodstock at Rotaryfest, The Sault’s Summer Festival!

Every band performing on Stage 1 will be covering some songs from artists that played at the original festival in 1969, and some sets will be dedicated entirely to celebrating that profound event in the history of music.

On Thursday night at 8 p.m., local music guru Rusty McCarthy has put together an amazing tribute to The Beatles which will feature music from The White Album and also Abbey Road, which is also celebrating a 50th anniversary.

Friday night will be groundbreaking for Stage 1 as many bands perform original songs, including Odd Man Out, Sailor’s Tongue, and headliner Jesse Merineau, who brought in record crowds to SooToday Stage Two two years in a row.

Saturday will showcase talented local musicians from early afternoon into the night. The headlining act is Canada’s own Green River Revival, North America’s most authentic sounding Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute which is officially licensed by John Fogerty’s record company.
