Join the annual dinner event to celebrate Black History Month with the African Caribbean Canadian Association of Northern Ontario (ACCANO).

The celebration takes place Feb. 25 at the Bush Plane Museum on 50 Pim St., featuring live music, dance performances, door prizes, a menu reflecting rich and diverse cultures, and more. 

Proceeds from the event will support ACCANO Scholarship funds at Algoma University and Sault College.

The African Caribbean Canadian Association of Northern Ontario (ACCANO) would like to extend a warm invitation to join us to celebrate our annual Black History Month Dinner! Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians, their stories, histories, and diverse cultures. 

Our annual dinner event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 5 p.m. at the Bush Plane Museum on 50 Pim St. in Sault Ste. Marie. This event will feature a dinner menu reflective of our rich and diverse cultures, live music, dance performances, door prizes, a cash bar and much more. The theme for this year’s celebration is Transformative Journeys which will be the focus of the keynote speech and other activities. All proceeds from the dinner will go towards supporting ACCANO Scholarship funds at Algoma University and Sault College.
