Aaron Pollock, Kyle McKearney and Lydia Sutherland will be performing at The LOFT.

Three Canadian county music singers will be performing at the LOFT in April to raise money for local students at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM).

The performance, which is on April 18, will feature Aaron Pollock, Kyle McKearney and Lydia Sutherland as part of The IG Songwriters and Stories series, which showcases how artists craft their songs and share some stories behind their music.

"The community of Sault Ste. Marie has a long history of coming together in support of NOSM University students. Funds raised through this event will go towards bursaries that help students afford medical school," says Dr. Sarita Verma, president, vice-chancellor, dean and CEO of NOSM University. "And right now, FDC Foundation is challenging like-minded philanthropists to give, so dollar for dollar, every gift made to NOSM University for student financial aid will be matched."

Tickets are available here and 100 per cent of the ticket price is donated directly to the NOSM to support students in financial need from the Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma area.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the performance starting at 8 p.m.
