Body mapping and a vocal master class coming soon from Northern Arts Academy

The Northern Arts Academy presents two workshops for local actors and singers.

Both feature the talents and capable instruction of Kimberly Barber, associate professor of voice at Wilfred Laurier University.

The first is a body mapping workshop entitled What Every Musician Needs to Know about the Body. It takes place on Saturday, Mar. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. This workshop covers basic body mapping concepts with particular emphasis on breathing, articulation and the upper limb (arm, wrist, hand). Cost for this workshop is $15.

The second workshop is a vocal master class which also takes place on Saturday, Mar. 25. It is being offered from 4 to 6 p.m. and is open to the public. 

Both workshops are being held at Algoma University in the Shingwauk Auditorium.
