Yes, 'Everyband Ed' is branching out to become 'Everyband, Every-instrument Ed'.

Larry Borek, the musical genius behind Red Gecko Studio and a songwriter/musician in his own right, is making a rare return to the stage to perform with the Harmony Sisters tonight on acoustic guitar and bass.

Borek is also credited by the Harmony Sisters with serving as a major inspiration for Raven Blue.

According to their website, the Harmony Sisters have been making music for about 20 years.

The sisters grew up in Sault Ste. Marie with music in their home.

Their second release, an EP entitled Voyage of Discovery / dedicated to astronaut Dr. Roberta Bondar served as a tribute to Dr. Roberta Bondar when she returned to Sault Ste. Marie in 1992 after her historic space flight.

The song was praised by many, including then mayor Joe Fratesi and Dr. Bondar herself.

Raven Blue is, "a mix of harmonies, torchy ballads, smoky 'tongue in cheek' blues and joyful pop, sung with passion and grace," says the Harmony Sisters' site. "Love is the theme of this CD, in all its aspects, and with love, these songs are crafted."
