Rock band, Big Wreck, has announced its In Loving Memory Of 20th anniversary tour, and Sault Ste. Marie is a scheduled stop. The four-piece – whose hits include The Oaf, Albatross, That Song, and Blown Wide Open – will perform at The Machine Shop on Tuesday, Feb 13, 2018.

Tickets are $35 each and go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 10 at The Machine Shop Box Office, the Community Box Office located in the Station Mall, and online here. Ticket holders must be 18 or older to attend.

Fronted by Ian Thornley, Big Wreck released its debut full-length, In Loving Memory Of, in October of 1997.

"It was obviously an important album for us because it was our first, and really put us on the map,” Thornley states in a recently issued news release. "I think the record stands up today as well as it did then. The songs still resonate with us as much as the more recent albums. It will be fun to play a lot of these older songs that we wouldn't get a chance to play in another setting, and a great opportunity for fans to hear them live. Can't believe it's been 20 years!"

The release indicates that “a limited number of VIP ticket packages will be available beginning Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. The package includes access to a private soundcheck experience performance by Big Wreck, premium ticket, exclusive merchandise including a signed limited edition vinyl pressing of In Loving Memory Of, Big Wreck branded guitar picks housed in a commemorative tin, and a VIP laminate and lanyard. VIP passes can be purchased by following this link.
