BAYLISS PUBLIC LIBRARY
*************************
Michigan playwright, novelist, and actor Raymond Goodwin returns to Bayliss Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. to present two short one-man plays.

Mr. Kricky’s Bridge is about the fate of an old truss bridge on family property. It involves a ghost, and a love story.

Wreck of the Gimpy Gin is a story of what might have really happened eight decades earlier in an accident with the Gimpy Gin ship. Those interested in maritime history will specially enjoy the latter.

Mr. Goodwin was asked back to the library by popular demand; last fall he presented his play, The Last Man in Merrinsville.

Make sure and plan on attending this special, free event. He is also the author of Sawdusted: Notes from a Post-Boom Mill, a Library of Michigan Notable Book selection for 2011.

Bayliss Public Library, a Superior District Library, is located at 541 Library Drive in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. For more information, call 906-632-9331 or visit the website
