Award winner That Summer encores

If you missed this year's QUONTA award winner the first time around there is another chance to see it this weekend.

That Summer, Theatre Ste. Mary's College (SMC) presents an encore performance of it's award winning production Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13 at Ste. Mary's College Theatre.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at St. Mary's College or Madonna Optical in the Station Mall.

Theatre SMC won the Northern Ontario's QUONTA drama festival in March with the production and have an opportunity to compete against three other regional winners at the Theatre Ontario Festival in Sarnia during the long weekend in May.

That Summer won six of the nine major awards at the drama festival, including best directors (Joseph lauzon, Loretta Durat), best actress(Carol Colombo), best supporting actress (Shana Brown), Bes Visual (set design Joseph Lauzon, Loretta Durat), Best Musical Contribution (Meaghan Garner) and Best Production.

Proceeds from this encore presentation of That Summer will assist with costs Theatre SMC's trip to Sarnia where it will represent Northern Ontario at the Theatre Ontario Festival.
