That Summer Feeling, an exhibition put on as part of Rolling Pictures' second Art X Project event, will be going ahead as an in-person event beginning on July 22.

The two-day exhibition will feature the works of Penny Gabor, Bonnie Lee Thorpe, and Amy Williams and will be held at Rolling Pictures Studio on Queen Street East.

"Our last show drew hundreds of people over the course of three nights and hundreds more on selected nights, '' said Robert Peace, community relations director at Rolling Pictures and creator of the ART X event, in a prepared statement. "We hope the lifting of restrictions will bring the community together after such a long time apart."

Added Todd Fleet, arts and culture coordinator with the City of Sault Ste Marie: "The Art X Project was designed as a way to support local early career interdisciplinary artists by providing opportunities to display their work in a public space."

"They gain experience in exhibition development, network with other local artists, build their portfolios, generate revenue and commission work and develop followings and public/media attention through the associated marketing of the project (both traditional and digital)," Fleet added.

Tickets, which are available free of charge or with a donation, can be found here.
