We at Sootoday's arts and entertainment page have been feeling a certain amount of peer pressure from our good friends at the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District to get our act together and post the 4-day arts and entertainment outlook that they have worked so diligently on. All we can say is that we are happy that it is only that, and not something worse for our well-being, that they have been trying to goad us into. To paraphrase one of our office's favourite movies Apocalypse Now, their methods are "unsound". Check out that wild ox Jay Case at Loplops tonight or ol' school country twist of Driveway at the Downbeat on Saturday (or perhaps you can chase around Al Wood at the various venues he will be performing at over the course of the weekend).

If you have any other arts-related events or activities that you would like to add to our page, email us at [email protected].
