The City of Sault Ste. Marie has partnered with a number of area organizations to offer a free information session to assist local entrepreneurs with opening small businesses in a post-COVID-19 world. The virtual session is scheduled to take place Tuesday from noon to 1:30 p.m.

“Despite the changes brought on by the pandemic, there are many opportunities for entrepreneurs to succeed,” says Nevin Buconjic, founder at StartUP Sault, in a recent news release. “There has been a growth in online shopping and an increased need for digital-based services. Entrepreneurs are discovering new ways to work amid the change and help our community through the pandemic. Now could be the right time to explore new ideas and kick-start a business.”

Participating presenters include a variety of local service agency and business representatives.

Anyone interested in taking part is encouraged to register here.

For more information about this virtual session, please contact the city’s business hotline at 705-574-1230 or email [email protected].
