StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce its next (virtual) Startup Talks event, in collaboration with the Millworks Centre for Entrepreneurship, featuring Rhaelyn Gillespie, co-founder of Taurah and Mintier.

Rhaelyn, grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and attended Algoma University before moving to Toronto to work for a growing startup, co-founded by Dragons’ Den’s Michelle Romanow. Rhaelyn excelled at Clearbanc (now Clearco) but during the pandemic, she left to co-found not one, but two companies and launch multiple new products.

Join StartUP Sault on Dec. 13 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. to learn more about Rhaelyn’s entrepreneurial journey and how she and her co-founder, Jessica Sheppard, created the world's first oil-based breath mint, Mintier and multiple other natural health and beauty products under the Taurah brand name.

Hear about the challenges and successes of starting a business and developing and launching products during a pandemic.

Join us as StartUP Sault founder and community lead, Nevin Buconjic interviews Rhaelyn about her experiences and lessons learned.

“We are so excited to be able to feature local entrepreneurs again through our Startup Talks events. It is important and often entertaining to hear the journeys of successful entrepreneurs. We are excited to hear from Rhaelyn, a young entrepreneur who has a lot to share about her recent experiences developing and marketing health and wellness products during the pandemic,” states Buconjic.

This event is virtual. Please register to receive a link to attend the event.
