It was announced today that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Pollard Banknote will continue its partnership with a new 10-year instant lottery ticket printing contract.

A news release issued today by OLG states that more than two billion tickets will be ordered through the term of the 10-year agreement, which may be extended an additional five years to 2037, and create more full-time jobs in Sault Ste. Marie.

"OLG’s previous contract with Pollard resulted in the establishment of a ticket finishing plant in Sault Ste. Marie with a commitment of 100 full-time employees," the release states. "Since then, Pollard has been able to hire nearly 20 additional employees in the Sault due to the productivity of the plant.
