A wonky wrist, a selfie-pic, and of course a parking fine.
Peeing in the live-well, belly-boarding down the street,
How you’d rock climb in the living room despite your tiny feet.
Ninja-turtle daydreams turned reality at night,
Fort building and snow angels for your inner child’s delight.

We cannot grieve forever, as you wouldn’t want us to,
but to carry on seems difficult without a friend like you.
Your love has left its mark in so many people and places,
But none that shines as beautiful in your little ones’ sweet faces.

To say goodbye seemed foolish, as we each still feel you near,
In dreams or thoughts or memories from loved ones you found dear.
In such short time, that you were here, you touched so many hearts.
So that’s where we each will keep you now, as to never be apart.
