A year has passed,
Since I saw your smile,
Heard your voice,
Felt your warm embrace!
Not a day goes by,
That a tear doesn’t fall,
My heart doesn’t break,
That my step doesn’t falter!
Will time really make it better?
Will it help heal the pain?
Does it ever get any easier?
This loss I feel inside.
This year has been the hardest,
The first of many without you,
