One year ago, January 14, 2016, Mom you left us yet, in our hearts, you are still here for your children. We remember with sorrow your passing but our greatest memories are those you gave us when you were with us; your kindness, support, compassion, wit and dry humor, determination, your love of Scotland and love of your family; they will stay with us forever and live on within us. Tonight we’ll raise a glass and toast to your wonderful soul. The pipes were playing when our bonnie Janet went back home to Scotland.
