One year ago today, on January 21, 2021, I lost my best friend, travel partner, camping buddy and husband. The boys lost their number one fan, their true supporter, their confidant and a loving father, Carlos Arruda. How can it be a year when it seems like yesterday? How can it be a year when it feels like so much more than that? Life has not been the same without you. We miss your love, your laughter, your quick witted remarks and mostly we just miss you. Please continue to watch over us and know that you will be in our hearts forever and always.
