It has been 40 years, but not a day goes by that we don't think of you and the wonderful home you created for us. It wasn’t until we became parents ourselves that we could fully appreciate, all that you did daily for the seven of us. You poured love into everything you did … the home cooked meals, knitting, gardening, preserving and your fierce support of our education. Friday nights still carry the memory of your delicious pizza and cinnamon buns, and oh how we loved joking with you around the kitchen table. When we sit on the beach at camp, knowing that it was one of your favourite places, we feel close to you and it warms our hearts. Mom, we admired your faith filled spirit and your positive outlook amidst adversity, but it was your deep love for family and your ability to laugh wholeheartedly that we miss the most.
