The world has changed dramatically, but one thing is still for sure, Christmas is coming. Many of us have been affected by COVID-19 in some way or another, but the festive season will be a chance to come together and celebrate, even if that means in a slightly different format.

Santa may have to social distance, but he'll still be checking if you've been naughty or nice. Proactive measures have been taken to deliver an interactive and safe visit with St. Nick in line with public health guidelines, as said in a news release issued by the Station Mall. The tradition of photos with Santa will continue in a safe, new way - with The Santa Photobomb Experience.

The Santa Photobomb Experience is the perfect way to bring the magic of Christmas to life, the release states. Station Mall has partnered with Cambridge, Ontario based Picture Us Mirror Photo Experience for this event. Guests will see Santa arrive and take part in their very own selfie session. The experience features Santa appearing in a full-length mirror to greet every guest and then transports them into a magical world using innovative photo technology.

"Adults, kids and families alike will enjoy the magic of seeing Santa appear in the mirror and interact with them along with having a photo taken with him too,” said Ray Lavoie, co-owner of Picture Us Mirror Photo Experience. "We can't wait to see the kid's faces when they see Santa.”

Guests will have the opportunity to share their photos via their phone for free. Prints in custom folders will be available in minutes at a small cost and will be completely contactless.

The Santa Photobomb Experience will run from Dec. 11 to Dec. 23, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day at the Station Mall and 12 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sundays.
