VIDEO: Local family sells everything to RV across the country

They are RVing 10,000 kilometres across Canada as a part of the ARCH Bucket List Challenge

Inspired by the ARCH Hospice Bucket List Challenge, and a series of tragic losses that hit close to home, a local family decided to cross a big dream off their list: To travel across the country in an RV.

So, Melanie, Doug, their two young children, and their hedgehog Regi, have set off on an adventure of a lifetime, traveling across Canada in their new-to-them RV, Murtle. New to the world of RVing, this is sure to be an interesting, challenging, and memorable trip, in more ways than one.

ARCH Hospice has inspired many people in our community to go after a goal with their Great Bucket List Challenge, and the family is thrilled to spread the Bucket List message as they road trip across the nation. The Great Bucket List Challenge encourages people to pick an item on their list that they have always wanted to check off, and challenge themselves to tackle it, no matter how big or small. And in the process, participants can raise awareness and funds for our local hospice. More information on the challenge can be found here.

Melanie and her family are hoping to raise $1 for every kilometre they travel. You can support their journey and follow their adventure here.
