Good morning, Sault Ste. Marie!

USED 2017-22-08 Ermitinger Sign DH
The Old Stone House was built by Charles Ermatinger when the Sault was still just a little fur trading post. So why does this city sign at the northwest corner of Bay and East refer to the national historic site as 'Ermitinger' House? Kai Petainen, a loyal SooToday reader who lectures at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, spotted the mistake and tweeted the city about it on Monday. The city responded, apologizing for the production error and promising to fix it 'shortly.' David Helwig/SooToday

SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says we can expect winds to continue to be gusty today out of the northwest.

The day will see a mix of sun and cloud with the slight risk of an isolated shower. We can expect below normal temperatures across the region with the high only reaching the mid-teens.
