Jaclynne Hamel is a proud Northerner. She knows the people of the Sault deserve progressive representation, and she is determined to be a strong voice for them at Queen’s Park.
Jaclynne has had a passion for local politics since a young age, first getting involved in student politics. She pursued this passion at Algoma University, where she obtained her degree in political science, and Sault College, where she studied public relations.
As someone raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Jaclynne understands the incredible potential that the North possesses, but also the unique challenges that it faces. She wants to see increased economic development in the region, so that Sault Ste. Marie gets its fair share.
Jaclynne has experience in the non-profit sector, where she has advocated for increased mental health supports for children and youth, and affordable housing for low-income families. She is proud to stand behind the Ontario Liberal Party’s progressive agenda.
