New case of COVID-19 in Algoma may have exposed Ontario Northland passengers

This marks the 38th confirmed case in Algoma

Anyone who travelled on the morning Ontario Northland bus from the Sault to Sudbury and from Sudbury to Toronto on the afternoon of Oct. 7 may have been exposed to COVID-19, says Algoma Public Health.

The latest positive case was tested on Oct. 5. 

Algoma Public Health (APH) says this case, case #38, was exposed through international travel, close contact.

People who took the 11:30 a.m. bus from Sault Ste. Marie to Sudbury, sat in rows 3-8 and the 4:30 p.m. bus from Sudbury to Toronto (Yorkdale), rows 3-8 should contact Algoma Public Health at 705-759-5404 (toll-free 1-866-892-0172, ext. 5404) or their local public health unit

Anyone who is ill, even with mild symptoms, must stay home and self-isolate away from others.
