COVID case number 43 of unknown exposure

Algoma Public Health says it doesn't know the origin of the second new COVID case in as many days

Another new case of COVID-19 has been discovered in the Algoma District, says Algoma Public Health.

The last new case announced was on Sunday and that one was contracted from a close contact.

APH doesn't know where the person in this case came into contact with the virus.

They are in isolation.

This is the forty-third positive case of COVID-19 in the district. Of those, 40 have been resolved, there are three active cases and no deaths recorded.
