About Lazy Voodoo

Lazy Voodoo was born out of sibling rivalry.

Aleisha Chapman (owner/designer) was challenged by her brother to leave realism behind and attempt to create something new.

She then drew a comic of her brother with these creepy cute puppets hanging from a tree, and was inspired.

With the support of her art professor she created paintings surrounding this intriguing cast of creepy characters, and from the paintings grew the actual dolls.

The "puppets" were originally based on members of her family, but have since grown into their own family tree with very twisted branches.
