The Root of it All

In an earlier editorial, I compared Thunder Bay with the Sault in terms of appearance and my initial impressions. Now, after almost a month, I’d thought I’d share a few more observations.

Amidst all the recent turmoil of sorting and packing-up my belongings, and getting rid of the accumulated junk, I had to make a very difficult decision. Along with the house that I inherited from my parents, I also inherited their cat.

Tuesday marks the start of my third week here in Thunder Bay. I’ve spent the past two weeks – when not in class – exploring the city by bus and on foot, and I must say that I am impressed.

Okay, so here’s what’s happening in my life right now: I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. While catching up on each other’s news he tells me has sold his house, and I tell him I am heading off to Teacher’s College.
