Adopt Me: Black beauties Phantom and Midnight

They were found living under a house

SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Phantom and Midnight

Black cats, including black kittens, are often overlooked in shelters in favour of "prettier" colours.

Some spend many months in rescue, sometimes years, waiting for someone to see past their colour. Consider adopting a black cat like Phantom or Midnight.

They look like identical twins. Found living under a house, three of their siblings have found homes but Phantom and Midnight are waiting their turn.

They were quite feral when they arrived, but an awesome foster home has been working with these two for quite a while and they are ready to go. They are shy at first but once they get to know you and are given time to adjust to new surroundings they will be quite the "purr"- friend for you.

Cats and kittens released for adoption have had a Wellness checkup at the vet’s, FELV testing, shots, dewormer, and flea medication if needed.
