SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Nathan

(TAAG)

Nathan is one of the black cats waiting patiently with The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) for a home to call his own.

This sweetheart is quite a playful and friendly fellow who wags his tail when you pet him.

He also likes other cats.

Nathan has had his vet checkup, has been neutered, and had all his shots updated through TAAG.

Statistically, black cats are the least likely to be adopted in Shelters across North America.

You can visit Nathan at Pet Food Warehouse in Churchill Plaza where he is currently housed for adoption through TAAG.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin St, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.

While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay / neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.

If you would like to adopt any of the available cats or kittens, please contact us.

Visit us at The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) Website, where you will find information on shelter location, hours of operation, ways to help, and adoption information.
