SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Calico Dahlia

(TAAG)

Dahlia is a young friendly female Calico mix who had four kittens and has now been taken out of the kitten-creating business by spay surgery through The Animal Assistance Group – TAAG.

She is ready for her new home.

Former mother cats have a lot of patience since they have had to deal with kittens for 8 weeks, feeding them and teaching them the ropes.

They gain a lot of tolerance being mom.

You can visit Dahlia currently at Pet Food Warehouse Churchill Plaza, where she is temporarily housed.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.

While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay/neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found.

Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.

If you would like to adopt any of the available cats or kittens, please contact us.

Visit us at The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) Website, where you will find information on shelter location, hours of operation, ways to help, and adoption information.
