Creature Feature: Espresso the cat (adopted)

SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Espresso

Espresso was found living outside back in the fall by a caring person. She was quite thin when she arrived at the shelter and missing fur on her tail and legs.
Volunteers at the shelter say Espresso is super friendly, playful, and loves a good scratch on the sides of her face and chin.

Espresso would really love to have a family of her own. Many of the black cats often get passed over.

Cats and kittens released for adoption have had a Wellness checkup at the vet’s, FELV testing, shots, dewormer, and flea medication if needed.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.

While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay/neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
