Jerry

Meet Jerry! If you're looking for a friend who wants to be petted and snuggled constantly, Jerry is your kitty!

He is very friendly with humans but can be a little skittish with some other animals.

Jerry is 1-2 years old, neutered and has had all his shots.

Some interesting facts about black cats:

  • Black cats were worshipped as gods in Ancient Egypt.
  • Black cats are so well regarded in Japan, they have cat cafes with only black kitties inside.
  • It is thought that the genes which determine a black coat may also indicate a healthier immune system.
  • Most black cats have yellow eyes.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada. TAAG receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of those who wish to be stewards of abandoned animals who cannot care for themselves, and to help those pets who have families in need of emergency vet care.
