Adopt Me: Emmy the Tortie (adopted)

SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Emmy

Emmy is a 4-year-old spayed Tortie who is very friendly and cuddly with people.

She may need to be the only cat in the home as she does not seem to do well with most other cats.

Emmy is currently in a foster home. TAAG needs to find permanent or foster homes for all the existing cats as the TAAG shelter will be closing its Elgin Street location at the end of July and a future shelter location has not been secured.

Cats and kittens released for adoption have had a Wellness checkup at the vet’s, FELV testing, shots, dewormer, and flea medication if needed.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.

While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay/neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
