SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Avery and Cammi

(TAAG)

Avery (white) and Cammi (tabby), are sisters who came to TAAG when they were young kittens. They had a very rough start to their precious little lives. They have been in a foster home for quite awhile and are doing really well now.

Avery and Cammi get along with the other cats in the home. They can be a little skittish until they get to know you, but both love affection, love to be brushed, love their treats and love to play with the wand. Neck scratches are their favorite, and they love wet food time!

Avery and Cammi are bonded to each other, so they have a special adoption fee to go to a home together. They would do best in a quieter home. Avery and Cammi need a special human who has lots of love to give and will be patient when they are nervous.

One very unfortunate result of the current human viral pandemic will be the inevitable impact on the innocent lives of cats and dogs, the dumping of pets, and the explosion of unwanted kittens and homeless cats in the near future.

As a non-profit animal rescue, TAAG receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of those who wish to be stewards of abandoned animals who cannot care for themselves or to help those pets who have families in need of emergency vet care. We are unable to hold fundraisers due to restrictions. If you would like to help, please visit: https://www.animalassistancegroup.org/donate

Contact info: TAAG Website . The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located in Sault Ste Marie, Ont.
