SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Asha

(TAAG)

Urgently needed - a compassionate, quiet, loving and patient home for a special needs cat that has a very delicate tummy and needs to be on special food.

Asha is a petite white/grey three-year-old Calico pastel mix with a very sweet, gentle, fragile personality. She would do well in a home where she is the only pet where she can be doted on. Asha may be okay with one other laid back, non aggressive cat but is fearful of dogs.

Asha was traumatized from her former home, so after coming to TAAG completely terrified, she received proper medical attention and love, so for the past eight months she has come a long way.

TAAG will cover the cost of her food for the first three months while she adjusts to her new home. If you feel you are that special someone that Asha can trust to be patient and loving, please call Darlene at (705-759-4300) or Cheryl at TAAG (705-575-7030).

If you are interested in adoption of one of our many kittens, you can fill out a preadoption form online at animalassistancegroup.org or contact TAAG at 705-576-7030.

As a non-profit animal rescue, TAAG receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of those who wish to be stewards of abandoned animals who cannot care for themselves or to help those pets who have families in need of emergency vet care.
