Join us for this fantastic annual event celebrating Winter and World Snow Day! There will be activities for everyone including Loppets for cross-country skiers, fat bikers, as well as a 5k snowshoe run. Prizes for everyone! (A Loppet is a Norwegian term meaning any athletic event which takes place across varied terrain.)
Loppet distances: 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 & 30 KM to accommodate all ages and abilities.
If you’re not into the sports named above, come out to enjoy the beautiful forest scenery of the Hiawatha Highlands, for a guided or self guided snowshoe tour.
You’re welcome to come out and cheer the loppet participants on!
Back at the Sugar Shack there will be food and refreshments sold to those looking for a delicious treat by Feeding Your Soul Cafe.
