If you’re looking for a low-cost activity that’s social and helps you stay in shape, then Scottish Country Dancing may be for you. You can take part in this internationally-popular type of dance right here in the Sault, learning lively jigs and reels and the distinctively Scottish Strathspey. No partner is needed - because we change partners every dance – just bring soft-soled indoor shoes and a water bottle.
Beginners’ classes start Saturday morning, Sept. 28 at St. Basil Catholic Elementary School on St. George's Ave. E. The first three classes are free, but registration is required.
