Bereavement Peer Support Group - Lost of Child (In Person)

VON's Bereavement Peer Support Group 'Loss of Child' has been postponed - starting October 17th until December 12th - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (eight weeks) every Tuesday evening. Open for members of Sault Ste. Marie and area who are 18+

This group is being facilitated by our VON Volunteers, one is a registered Social Worker, and one has previously lost a child. The program is designed to support bereaved individuals in a group setting by creating a safe space where they can share their stories, explore questions and feelings, and learn healthy coping strategies, in an environment where grief is normalized, and individual experiences are validated.

You will require 'Understanding Your Grief' by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. We will loan if needed.
