As a result of continued growth, McDougall Energy has an exciting opportunity for a successful, motivated and eager individual to join our growing team as a Credit Representative. Reporting to the Corporate Credit Manager this role will support to our Credit team. Interfacing with internal and external customers and departments including Sales, Operations and Pricing this position will ensure all new customer account applications are set up and complete within our system.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Establishing customer accounts for our Home and Business customers within our ERP system.
  • Communicating account details to our customers and all internal departments.
  • Updating customer account information and ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Closing of all cancelled accounts, communicating to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all documentation is uploaded and properly stored on docushare.
  • Managing all Ontario Small claims actions until account is settled.
  • Assisting with customer service and collection calls; following up on delinquent accounts.

ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years’ experience working in credit or accounts receivable.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP system considered an asset.
